Hostess nation Finland left everything on the ice, but United States were stronger in the Bronze medal match of Women’s tournament. Home crowd had eventually no chance to celebrate Finnish goals as USA took home bronze medals with final score 3-0.

Ellen Larson scored second goal for United States in the last minute of regular playing time, and final score was netted by Allison Thunstrom in additional time.

Norwegians took 4-1-lead in the half time by goals from Fredrik Nordby, Felix Callander and Jerner’s second. Felix Ljungberg and Tobias Mosfjell made the game 6-1, until USA bounced back with goals from Nolan Haney and Michael Fabie.
